About Us

Lire en français

Because all the thoughts that cross our minds can give way to amazing stories, because our ideas can be interpreted and turned into stories in a thousand different ways, we created Mug’s Tale.

Mug’s Tale is much more than a writing blog. It is a place where we can meet up, exchange and share our lives, our opinions, our ideas, our stories.

Our administrators, our editors, our contributors, our authors and our guests all share the same passion for reading and writing.

Whether you write and read as a hobby or professionally, come and tackle the weekly challenges posted online, or link your contribution to another page of our gallery.

You can take it upon yourself to write within a set length of time or just chill at home and compose it for hours.

So go on and write. Then come back and check out the works of other talented writers once the deadline has gone by.

Writing is your hobby. Take it a step further and make it your way of life.

Become an author. Join Mug’s Tale!

Mug’s Tale admin team are bilingual English-French, so you can pick the language you want to write in indifferently.

English and French are the only options for now, but we’re looking to expand on that in the near future.

A propos…

Note: The pictures are all original captures. B. (a.k.a Hailie) loves walking or running around with her camera handy to encrypt and preserve a glimpse of the beauty that surrounds us.

    1. Hey Gold Hour Glass, or should I say dear future author!

I am happy to help and delighted to hear you would like to tackle one or more of our challenges.

All you need to do to become a member is send me an email address and you will receive an invitation to contribute to our weekly writing workshops.

Once you have accepted this invitation, Mug’s Tale will appear amongst your blogs. Then it is up to you to write as any posts you like answering our workshops and challenges.

Once you have submitted your post, one of the editors of our blog – usually that is me – will proofread it and publish it for you. The rights to your words remain entirely yours. We only provide a platform for you to share your words.

Oh and we also appreciate it, if you write an autobiography so that we can include it in our authors data base 🙂

I hope this helped. If you have any remaining questions, don’t hesitate to ask. 🙂

Happy writing and welcome to Mug’s Tale writing community!
